Chemtox solgt til Bureau Veritas
Chemtox A/S, Skandinaviens førende rådgiver inden for kemi og miljø, træder den 1. januar 2008 ind i en ny fase. Virksomheden bliver overtaget af Bureau Veritas og bliver nu en del af en global koncern med mere end 26.000 medarbejdere i 140 lande.

DGI-hus bliver en realitet
Byrådet besluttede onsdag d. 19. december, at der på Holbæk Havn skal opføres et 20.000 m2 stort DGI-hus med mulighed for bl.a. vandkulturhus, hotel, restaurant, multihal, biograf og boliger. Byggeriet skal efter planen gå i gang i marts 2009.

DLH scorer 600 mio. på salg
DLH frasælger de danske byggematerialeaktiviteter til franske Saint-Gobain for at styrke det internationale salg af træ. Salget skaber en engangsindtægt på omkring 600 mio. kr., når transaktionen er gennemført i første kvartal 2008.

Ny sjællandsk bydel med sportslig profil
Næstved slår med nyt byudviklingsprojekt sin position fast som et sjællandsk kraftcenter for sundhed, sport og kultur. Et projektteam med Nielsen & Rubow Arkitekter A/S og Elkiær + Ebbeskov Arkitekter i spidsen har vundet Næstved Kommunes

Fremtiden er sikret for Skanska's sjællandske renoveringsregion, der overtages af ledende medarbejdere og Jönsson Gruppen a/s.

Per Aarsleff tjente godt på byggeboom
Per Aarsleff tjente godt i regnskabsåret 2006/2007. Resultatet før skat blev på 187 mio. kr. Ledelsen forventer for indeværende regnskabsår et lille dyk i indtjeningen.

Året, der gik med Building Supply
Som mange andre har Building Supply valgt at se tilbage på året, der gik - tilbage på et år, der begyndte med rødglødende aktivitet og sluttede med en branche, der nåede toppen og nu skal finde sig til rette på et mere humant aktivitetsniveau.

AZ Huse i knæ
Prisstigninger på byggematerialer og på arbejde udført af underleverandører har især været medvirkende til, at typehusfirmaet AZ Huse er gået i betalingsstandsning.

Holmsø Huset er gået konkurs
Holmsø Huset i Fjerritslev, der for et par uge siden gik i betalingsstandsning, er nu erklæret konkurs. 120 medarbejdere er sendt hjem.

Stærkt felt i konkurrence om det nye Danmarks Akvarium
Et internationalt felt bestående af fem velrenommerede danske og et tysk arkitektfirma er udvalgt til at deltage i konkurrencen om at tegne det nye Danmarks Akvarium, som skal ligge på Øresunds kyst ved Kastrup Havn. Den nye bygning, som er blevet døbt Den Blå Planet, kommer til at indeholde Nordeuropas største og mest moderne akvarium.

schmidt hammer lassen har fået hul igennem til det engelske marked – først var det kontrakten om at skabe Aberdeen Universitetsbibliotek, siden det kommende City of Westminster College, og nu gælder det så udviklingen af et blandet byområde med shopping og nye boliger i North Sheffield.

Fremgang for Munck Gruppen a/s
Munck Gruppens resultat og økonomiske udvikling i regnskabsåret 2006/07 blev bedre end forventet. Til næste år forventes omsætningen at nærme sig milliarden.

C.F. Møller vinder danmarkshistoriens største hospitalsopgave
Region Midtjylland har netop offentliggjort, at vinderen i konkurrencen om Danmarkshistoriens største hospitalsbyggeri Det Nye Universitetshospital i Århus er DNU-konsortiet. Opgaven vil strække sig over de næste 12-15 år.

Konkurrencemyndighederne har netop godkendt Consolis Denmarks køb af betonelementproducenten Spæncom.

Skovbo overtages af Fiskarhedenvillan
Fiskarhedenvillan overtager de sunde aktiviteter i Skovbo A/S i Børkop, der er begæret konkurs. Køberne af cirka 60 træhuse på kontrakt med Skovbo får dermed deres nye huse uden at tabe penge eller betale merpris. Fiskarhedenvillan er et succesrigt

Dansk Byggeri om BR08
De hidtil gældende bygningsreglementer BR 95 for erhvervs- og etagebyggeri og BR-S 98 for småhuse inklusive de to reglementers i alt 27 tillæg afløses nu af ét samlet og forenklet bygningsreglement BR08.

Nyt bygningsreglement træder i kraft 1. februar 2008
Økonomi- og erhvervsminister Bendt Bendtsen er nu klar med et nyt bygningsreglement (BR08). Det træder i kraft den 1. februar 2008. Bygningsreglementet lover blandt andet bedre rammer for tilgængelighed og indeklima samt forenkling af reglerne.
